Their debut record album, Vittrad, released in April 1994, was nominated for a Swedish Grammy patch their second album, Guds Speleman, released deuce years later, received the Swedish Grammy honor as "Record record album of the year". Released in the United States, the record album placed heights on the CMJ New Music chart. In late 1996, Guds Speleman reached the twenty percent posotion on a "Height 25" name compiled by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and Societe-Radio Canada.Their third gear effort, Vedergallningen (Vengence), released in March 1999 reached number 8 on the European reality euphony chart. Formed in 1990, Garmarna was divine by Olav Johansson's melodious account for a production of Shakespeare's Hamlet. Initially a triple featuring Gotte Ringqvist, Stefan Brisland-Ferner and Rickard Westman, the group rapidly built a substantial local reputation.
